Day 2 Transfer to Samarkand. Sightseeing.
Day 3 Sightseeing in Samarkand. Afternoon drive to yurt camp in the desert.
Day 4 Camel riding to Aydarkul lake. Afternoon drive to Bukhara.
Day 5 Sightseeing in Bukhara. Evening departure by train to Tashkent.
Day 6 Morning arrival to Tashkent. One-day tour to Chimgan.
Day 7 Full day sightseeing in Tashkent.
Day 8 Departure from Tashkent.
DETAILED PROGRAM OF THE TOUR
Day 1 Arrival to Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Rest.
Day 2 Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Samarkand - 350 km. (takes around 5 hours). Transfer to the Hotel. Enjoy an afternoon tour of the city, visiting the Guri-Emir Mausoleum, Rukhabad Necropolis and the Registan Complex.
Day 3 After breakfast - Continue tour of Samarkand, visiting the Ulugbek Observatory, Bibi-Khanum Cathedral Mosque, Shakhi Zinda Mausoleum and the bazaar. Afternoon drive to yurt
camp in the desert. Camel riding. Dinner. Overnight in yurt.
Day 4 After breajfast camel riding to Aydarkul lake (half day). Lunch on the shore of the lake with the fresh fish. Swimming & rest. Return to the camping & departure to Buchara (220 km). On arrival check –in hotel & rest.

largest madrasah in Bukhara. Poi –Kalyan Complex includes: 48 m minaret Kalyan (XII c) – the symbol of Bukhara; large Friday mosque Kalyan (XV c) with galleries topped with 288 domes of 1 hectare area; the only one active madrasah in Bukhara Miri-Arab (XVI c). The Samanids mausoleum (IX-X c) – The Samanids family burial vault – one of the ancient mausoleums in Central Asia made of burnt brick, which remains in a good condition nowadays. Ark citadel (IV c bc – XX c) – surrounded with large fortress wall – the oldest building in Bukhara, the main residence of the Emirs. There is a museum nowadays. Evening transfer to railway station for departure by train to Tashkent at 20:00. Spending the night in the train.
Day 6 Arrive to Tashkent at 07:00. Breakfast. Drive to Chimgan Mountains (Ugam-Chatkal National park) (90km – 2 hours). Easy hiking. Rest on the beaches of Charvak reservoir. Late afternoon return to Tashkent. Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 7 Full day sightseeing in Tashkent: Old town, cult-architectural complex Khast – Imam (Khazret – Imam ) with grand Friday mosque, medieval Yunus-khan and Kafal-Shashi mausoleums (XVI c), Barakh – khan and Kukeldosh madrasahs (XVI-XVII c), Islamic University, library in Tillya Sheykh mosque with one of Osman caliph’s (VII c) original Korans, the oldest in the world; Istiqlol square with Abdul Kasim madrasah (XVI-XVII c) (the craftsmen works and sells their original products and souvenirs here), Alisher Navoiy monument, great amusement park, ànd the color music fountain; Amir Timur square (Tamerlan) with the park, equestrian statue of Tamerlan, surrounded by historic and administrative buildings such as the Forum

1966; Opera and Ballet theater, built by the Japanese prisoners of war in 1945, ànd the color music fountain; Mustaqillik (Independence) square with the Independence monument, “Ezgulik” arch, the eternal flame, the fountains; “Chorsu” eastern bazaar, decorative and applied art with the richest collection of Uzbekistan craftsmen’s products.
Day 8 Departure from Tashkent.
