Everest Easy Trek
Everest Easy Trek is one of the shortest treks in Everest region. It is not so difficult trekking as other and especially for those who have a dream to see the top of the world and have less time or too old or who cannot walk much distance. Everest Easy Trek is available for all season but we recommend to visit at the best time that is from March to May and September to November. See also another itinerary of same duration.

Cho-Oyu Expedition (8201m)-43 Days

From Kyzylkum Desert up to Tien-Shan Mountains

Day 2 Transfer to Samarkand (350 km, ~ 5 hrs). Excursion: Registan square - the "heart" of Samarkand - ensemble of 3 majestic medreses (XIV-XVI c.c.) – Sherdor, Ulugbek and Tillya Qory, the grandiose cathedral Bibi-Khanum Mosque (XV c.), Gur-Emir Mausoleum of Timur (Tamerlan), his sons and grandson Ulugbek (XV c.).
Day 3 Continue of excursion: Tamerlan’s grandson Ulugbek’s the well-known ruler and astronomer-scientist observatory (1420) - the ruins of an immense (30 m. tall) astrolabe for observing stars position, Shakhi-Zinda – “The Living King” (XI-XVIII c.c.) Necropolis of Samarkand rulers and noblemen, consisting of set of superb decorated mausoleums, exotic Siab bazaar. Transfer to Aydar yurt camp in Kyzyl-Kum Desert (300 km, ~ 6 hrs). Dinner at the bon-fire. Overnight in yurts.
Day 4 Riding on the camel-backs along the desert. Rest on Aydarkul Lake. Transfer to Bukhara (250 km, ~ 4 hrs). On the way the excursion to the petroglyphs of Sarmysh Gorge (more 3500 pictures of the Bronze Age – one of the biggest “stone picture galleries” of the world), and also to famous Nur holy complex with the source with holy fish, lunch in Nurata. Walking along evening Bukhara.
Day 5 Excursion program in Bukhara: Chashma Ayub Mazar Burial-vault (XIV-XIX c.c.), Poi-Kalan Complex (XI-XVI c.c.), Miri-Arab Medrese (XVI c.), Lyabi-Hauz Complex (XVI-XVII c.c.), Mausoleum of Samanids (IX-X c.c.), Nadir Divanbegi Medrese (XVI c.), Ark - ancient fortress (VI-VII c.c.), Chor-Minor Minaret (XVIII c.), Sitorai Mokhi Khosa - "Palace of Moon and Stars" - summer residence of the last Bukhara Emir (XIX c). Night train to Tashkent.
Day 6 Arrival in Tashkent. Breakfast. Transfer to Chimgan Mountains (100 km, ~ 2 hrs). Rest. Walking on picturesque environing. Accommodation in comfortable complex, in national natural park, on the bank of Chatkal River.
Day 7 Transfer to Fergana (312 km, ~ 6 hrs) with excursions in Kokand: Khudoyar-khan Palace (1871) where local historical museum is situated, Norbut-Biy Medrese (XVIII c), Modarikhon Mausoleum (XIX c) and in Rishtan – famous by potters’ dynasties, ceramics masters. Here you can watch their work and buy original earthenware for memory.
Day 9 Excursion: famous Osh bazaar, Suleyman Mountain, local ethnographical museum and
Day 11 Transfer to Issyk-Kul Lake (250 km, ~ 6 hrs), a “pearl” of Central Asia. It’s a big lake, surrounding by mountain ranges with beyond the clouds peaks, fine beaches, and evening entertainments. Accommodation in pension on the shore of the lake.
Days 12-13 Rest on the lake.
Day 14 Transfer to Bishkek (260 km, ~ 4 hrs). Excursion: Alatoo Square, Museum of History, Manas Ethnographical Complex, shopping, buying souvenirs.
Day 15 Departure from Bishkek.

Day 8 Excursion in Margilan to Yodgorlic silk factory. Here you can acquaint with a process of hand-made production of silk fabrics, from unwinding silk cocoons till their coloring, and also to buy not expensive souvenirs made of silk. Transfer to Osh (120 km, ~ 2 hrs).
Day 9 Excursion: famous Osh bazaar, Suleyman Mountain, local ethnographical museum and
Asaf ibn Burkhiya (XI-XVII c.c.), Museum of History. Transfer along picturesque mountain road to Chichkan Gorge (300 km, ~ 7 hrs). Walking along the gorge, overnight stay in comfortable mountain house or in yurt in the surrounding of Tien-Shan spruces.
Day 10 Transfer to high-mountain Son-Kul Lake (240 km, ~ 6 hrs), which is located in a huge
picturesque intermountain hollow at the altitude of 3000 m.a.s.l. There are fine opportunities for walking and horse-back riding, contacts with local shepherds, who have kept their way of life and traditions of their ancestry up to now. Accommodation in traditional Kyrgyz yurts.
